Kettlebell Fundamentals: Turkish Get Up to Elbow

The Turkish Get Up is foundational movement in kettlebell training. It will improve overhead shoulder stability, proprioception AKA body awareness, balance, lower body mobility and strength, and is a great way to train the whole body to work together. Typically, as the Get Up improves, so does all the other compound movements. This move has many steps and complexities, so it is a good idea to master the first step before trying to hoist heavy weights all the way to standing and back down.
